GENERAL COUNCIL
General Council is a apex body of JEPC. The Chief Minister of Jharkhand
is the Ex-officio Chairman of JEPC, Minister of Human Resource Development, Jharkhand is
the Ex-officio vice-chairman and the State Project Director, the Ex-officio
Member-Secretary. Members of the General Council is displayed below :.

Executive Committee of
JEPC is empowered to monitor, co-ordinate, facilitate implementation of the programme. The
Development Commissioner, GOJ and State Project Director, JEPC are the Ex-officio Chairman

MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE AT STATE LEVEL
STATE LEVEL OFFICE

State Project Director is the Chief Executive Officer of the Jharkhand
Education Project Council. |

State Project Director is assisted by specialist of various component,
i.e.
Specialist Pedagogy, Specialist Education,
Specialist MRE, MIS Coordinator,Specialist EMIS, Specialist Women and Child
Welfare, Executive Engineers etc each responsible for their respective area of specialization with a Senior
Programme Co-ordinator and State Programme Officer. |
MISSION TASK FORCE (MTF)

ORGANISATIONAL
STRUCTURE AT DISTRICT LEVEL
At the district level in
each district there is an effective and broad based District Level Executive Committee to
monitor the implementation of programmes, provide necessary direction consistent with
programme guidelines and procedure, facilitate convergence with other related departments
of the Government at the district level with a view to ensure timely implementation of the
programme. Deputy Commissioner of the district is the Ex-officio Chairman of District
Executive Committee. Where there is more than one revenue district attached with the
project district, Deputy Commissioner of the other district is the co-chairman of the
Executive Committee. The District Executive Committee comprises of district level officers
of the department related to Primary Education, Mass Education, Health, PHED & Welfare
Departments besides representatives from Teachers, Parents, Village Education Committees
and NGOs.

District Programme Officer is assisted by Additional District Programme Officer(ADPO) and Specialist of various
components such as Asst. Computer Programmer(ACP),Account Officer(AO),Asst. Programme Officers. Each responsible for their respective area of specialization. |
DISTRICT TASK FORCE (DTF)

DTF is constituted in all DLOs. |
|
|
Deputy Development Commissioner is the Chairman of District Task Force. |
|
|
District Programme Officer, District heads of Education and
heads of other related departments and programme personnel in D.L.O. are members of
District Task Force. |
|
|
Works as an organized team to promote programme implementation. |
|
|
Primarily concerned with programme implementation as per annual work plan
and convergence of different programmes. |
