Civil Works
Civil
works in Jharkhand education Project council plays an important role as a
catalyst in achieving the goal of universalisation of elementary education.
Civil works in SSA is not just construction of School Building or
educational institutions rather it is a process of community awareness,
capacity building of the community through community involvement.
Construction work in SSA is carried out through Village Education Committee
(VEC), hence community involvement, to develop the sense of ownership among
the community for the building being constructed.

Progress under civil work during
2010-11
The target as well as achievement during the financial year 2010-11 is more
in comparison to previous years target and achievement. The district under
the guidance & monitorship from the state level has made a tremendous effort
to implement the schemes as per district specific approved AWP&B.
